Tours are our main passion but I also write and do other things, like writing and even making art. This part of the website is new but will include projects that explore not just life in Hackney but also its links or parallels with other parts of the world. These include the Hackney Berlin Project and the Hackney Berlin Wall.

This August Hackney Tours founder Simon Cole spoke – alongside Hackney academic Sarah Scarsbrook – at the 5-yearly Documenta arts festival in Kassel, Germany. Then in Berlin, Simon ran the Berlin Wall as part of a project which was an artistic response to the Olympic perimeter in Hackney.
