East End Independents’ Day: Well Street Market launches tomorrow!
We’ve been exploring community a lot recently and many of you have been part of that. One of the ways it’s built is through markets. They’re a great space for people to come together.
Tomorrow will see an exciting afternoon in Homerton: the launch of a monthly market at Well Street, featuring young artists and makers and much more. No less than Norman Jay himself will be DJ’ing! It’s also East End Independents’ Day.
To give something back to a borough that’s been good to us – and for the sheer buzz of supporting positive initiatives like this and hanging out with people like you – we’re doing a FREE walk tomorrow.
We’ll set off at 11am at Hackney Museum (1 Reading Ln, London E8 1GQ) to arrive for the midday kick-off of the fun at Well Street Market.
It’ll be a relaxed walk, a community walk, where we’ll get to know each other, hear a *little* local history and arrive at the market for the big moment.
We hope to see you tomorrow. This is how we build community. Resiliient, sustainable community.
