Special walk (inc. food) for East End Trades Guild #IndieWknd
It’s been a busy Autumn. If you follow Hackney Tours on social media, you might see we took some Hackney kids to Folkestone Triennial at half term to share the wonder of art and exploration with future generations. Last week we dropped in on a happening in Dalston with the legendary KLF. And now it’s December…
…which means the annual East End Trades Guild celebration of the local business that keeps East London interesting!
We’ve got a family-friendly – ALL ages, orientations, configurations of person very welcome – walk on Sunday to discover Extraordinary E5.
Hackney Tours has teamed up with fellow EETG members Bernsteins Bar to include food in the price and keep discovery affordable. Under 5s are free, the price for under 16s pretty much just covers costs.
So if you want to find out some of the stories behind Clapton, enjoy some discounted hot food from Bernsteins Bar (worth £6), support local business and build a little community, join us at Chatsworth Road Market this Sunday.
By the way, there’s something very special for booklovers – keep your eyes peeled – coming in the New Year and you can still hire Hackney Tours privately for schools, clubs or presents for relatives.
Oh, and people are really enjoying these pictures of Hackney on the Instagram feed. How many of these spots do you recognise?
Stay warm and hope to see you soon…
Best regards,
Simon
